Executive Leader-Transformation

A Business Transformation Executive with over 22 years experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry.

Greg has extensive experience in delivering strategic transformation across Digital, Information Technology, Business operations, Distribution, Product and Risk management with a focus on delivering stretch transformation outcomes to his clients.

A trusted advisor to senior executives and external business partners. Highly commercial executive with proven experience across all aspects of Retail and Business banking including: Payments, Crisis Management, Outsourcing and leveraging strategic partners.

A results driven person with a focus on execution and efficiency with the ability to motivate and lead divergent teams across the Enterprise. Most recently he has led the Transformation Delivery team for Westpac Consumer and Business Bank (CBB) as well as being the “Head of Chapter” for all transformation delivery members across CBB.  In this role he was responsible for managing teams to deliver the transformation outcomes across the five Lines of Business (LOB’s) in CBB. This involves a team of approximately 600 FTE and a cumulative annual investment budget of circa $450m pa.

Key achievements:

  • Defining the strategy and operating rhythm for the sub-Chapter leads with a focus on capability assessment, development and workforce planning across the division.
  • Merger and acquisition experience in leading the synergies stream in the Westpac and St-George banking merger.
  • Payments experience across all Consumer finance systems (issuing and merchants) including the design and delivery of Westpac’s multi-channel (credit card) originations platform.
  • Leading the Transformation team within the Consumer Division of Westpac and responsible for leading the team that delivered the regulatory reforms into the business including Responsible Lending, Banking Code of Practice (BCOP), Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO), Open Banking and Comprehensive Credit Reforms (CCR).
