Virtual Lab: Introduction to the Leadership Development Program and Critical Thinking Framework
23 March, 2022 @ 17:00 - 18:00 AEDT
The Virtual Lab will introduce the three pillars of the Janellis Leadership Development Program which are:
- Enabling Team-Based Critical Thinking skills.
- Building the Resilience capability to lead through change and uncertainty.
- Advanced Stakeholder Engagement and Influencing skills to deliver complex programs of work.
The session will also introduce the Critical Thinking Framework:
- Introduction to the 7-Step Process and how it can be used to: align a diverse group of stakeholders; work with cross-functional teams; uncover blind-spots; generate new ideas; understand impacts; priorities and effective communication with key stakeholders.
- Case study examples of how the 7-Steps have been applied.
- A scenario-based activity.
Project teams face many complex decisions that require robust and transparent decision-making and the skills to uncover potential blind spots, particularly where decisions need to be made with very few inputs.
To assist individuals in developing these skills, Janellis uses the Janellis Decision Support Tool and the Janellis War Room process to provide additional structure and rigor and to enable Team-Based Critical Thinking.
Joining our first Virtual Lab will give you:
- Insight into the critical thinking skills used by Executive Leaders within your industry and externally, to tackle their most complex problems and how you can develop your skills in this area.
- Opportunities to participate in scenarios to develop new strategies to engage a diverse group of people and enable Team-Based Critical Thinking within your project or team.
- Understanding of how the Janellis 7-Step Process is used to develop the Critical Thinking Skills required to solve current challenges.
- The opportunity to become an accredited Critical Thinking Expert and/or Master Facilitator.
Attending the session will count as ‘points’ towards the Critical Thinking Professional Accreditation
- No cost to attend
